Please note that there are no meals served on Friday but there are some local pubs, supermarkets and fish n’ chip shops nearby. There are regular buses from the university campus to central Stirling, a journey of no more than 20 minutes. There is also a supermarket on campus. The William Wallace pub has stopped serving food, however there is The Meadow Park just to the right on the main road as you leave the university main entrance, which serves food until 10pm on Fridays but advised to book – 01786 834084. Also, straight through the roundabout at the foot of the hill, go along the 3rd road on the right, Easter Cornton Road, you will find The Birds and Bees, a 10-15 minute walk from Spittal Hill and is a gastropub pub serving steaks and a British pub menu – 01786 473663
